Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning: Rei (pronounced Ray) = universal wisdom/spiritual consciousness and Ki (prounced key) = chi/life force energy

Helen has recently started training to be a Reiki Practitioner/Master in the Usui/Tibetan Reiki style and has been empowered with both the Western and Japanese style attunements.

Reiki is a natural yet powerful universal energy chanelled through the practitioner's hands to the client. Used as a complimentary therapy, it is gentle, safe and relaxing.

Helen first started training, on impulse, in October 2011 and has now gained the Reiki 1 level with Reiki 2 started in January 2012. As such, Helen is a not fully qualified and therefore does not charge for her sessions, but is using it as a means of fundraising for her trip to Sarajevo with the Healing Hands Network and so just asks for donations per session. Helen has joined the UK Reiki Federation as an Associate Member, and abides by their high standards and code of ethics, so client's can be reassured that they are in good hands, (pun intended)!

Sessions last approx 1 hour and can be done with the client either lying on the couch, sitting or standing depending on the client's needs.
