Health Kinesiology Sessions

Q. How long do sessions last?

Approximately 1 hour, longer for your first session, but less for young children.

Q. How many sessions will I need?

It varies from person to person, but between 1 and 4 is normal. On your first session you will be muscle tested to see how many you need, and what gap is needed between sessions. The usual gap is one month, but again this varies.

Q. What ages do you work with?

Any age, from birth upwards. Children up to the age of 16 are worked with in the presence of a parent/carer.

Q. Will I need to get undressed?

Only shoes and coats and sometimes your watch need to be removed.

^ TOP

Q. Do I need to talk about my problems and worries?

No, not always. Health Kinesiology is gentle and non-invasive, although there are a few times when clients need to talk about something as part of their therapy. Helen does not ask any unnecessary questions, and anything said during a session is treated in the strictest of confidence and dealt with compassionately.

Q. How do you work with babies and young children?

By working with the parent/carer on the couch using them as a surrogate whilst the baby/child rests or plays close by. Helen has a box of Duplo, plus colouring books/pencils and a sticker book to help keep children occupied. Sessions are always relaxed and it is no problem to pause to deal with children's questions, toilet needs etc or to breastfeed a baby part-way through.

Q. What symptoms can you treat?

Health Kinesiology does not treat specific symptoms nor will it diagnose any illnesses, but rather it works holistically on the body's Bio-Energy system - the aura, chakras and meridians. The aim of the practitioner is to work so that the client sees and feels a significant improvement rather than trying to 'cure' or 'heal' particular conditions. Many returning clients and a growing number of new clients recommended by word of mouth are testimony to its popularity and success.

Q. Does the parent/carer have to be there when you work on children?

If the child is aged 15 years or under, then yes, the parent/carer needs to be present during the session.

Colour Mirrors Sessions

Q. What happens during a Colour Mirrors session?

The client chooses between 3 and 7 bottles that they are drawn to, then lying down on the couch with some relaxing music on, the bottles are placed either on or around the body. Helen then explains the meaning of the bottles before using a chakra dowsing pendant to intuitively dowse the BioEnergy field to remove any BioEnergy blockages.

Some clients will feel nothing at all, some will feel a variety of sensations, such as warmth or tingling, or they might see colours. It varies from client to client.

Q. Is it suitable for children?

Younger children - no - due to the spiritual nature of the bottles - the meanings and significance would be lost on them, nor would they be able to lie down and be still for 45 minutes!

Mid teens and above would however be suited to this relaxing therapy.

Q. What's the cost?

£40 per session - lasting approx 45 minutes
